About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to explore a new place, meet poeple who have lived a different life than me, enjoy the feeling of being a 'local', if only for a few days...
ABOUT ME
I like the good things, music, red wine, vintage clothes, shiny things, jazz from the 1930's, outsleeping my cat, swimming in waterholes and just 'being' somewhere new and taking a moment to enjoy being in that time, space and thought.
PHILOSOPHY
the world is an amazing place. I want to always stay aware of how lucky i am to have a home, good friends, art and music in my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Years ago my housemates and I hosted a few couchsurfers, and it was an amazing experience that opened up our world to new ideas, cultures and travel destinations. Some of those folks we still keep in contact with after a decade! Then my partner and I travelled through Europe on couches and had the most wonderful experiences. When we returned we continued to host travellers at our home in West End, Brisbane and have loved the circle of sharing and care that comes with the couchsurfing community.
