About Me

I'm into board games, reading (science fiction mostly), mucking about with my hackintosh, bodybuilding and spending way too much time in the library.

I've been to Belgium, Canada, Mexico, all over the US and I've lived in Denmark, in Copenhagen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not hosting at the moment because I have a roommate who I am trying to keep sweet.
If I've stayed with you and you or someone you know needs a place to stay in Austin let me know, whether I'm officially hosting or not and I'll make something happen, either at my place or with someone I know well. Also happy to meet up and give tips about the city or hang out when I'm in town.

Interests

aquascaping, science fiction & fantasy, SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism, reading about food, instructables.com, writing, photography, theory, bookswapping, copenhagen, knitting, storytelling, fresh bread, vegetarian food (I'm not a vegetarian, but I love veg. food), bodybuilding, and messing about on the computer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lois McMaster Bujold, Martha Wells, McGee on Food

Things I've read recently: Freakonomics, Self Made Man, Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers, The Sexual Contract, Flickr Hacks

Music, well I like a lot of things. Movies, I can go for almost anything but horror, although I'm really not fond of slapstick. The most recent tv show I've watched was Rita, a Danish sitcom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kept my friends this long. :)

For real though, I flew to a country alone and got surgery there once, does that count?

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy all kinds of people: theorists, DIYselfers, women, men, students, people who run their own businesses. You name it; I could learn something from you. I could teach you to replace the drive in your laptop or make a mean Indian curry.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to help cook, bring you something from another city, share stories, you name it!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In
