ABOUT ME
As of May 30th I will have moved out of my apartment and will be couch surfing myself for a few weeks before making my second visit to the beautiful Costa Rica. I will be WWOOFing at Earth Rose Farm in Pt. Islita from May 15 to June 11. At this point I'm not entirely certain when I will again have a place to call my own. So until then, I will be unable to host (terrible, je sais!)
***
I believe in an alternative lifestyle based on personal development, simplicity, and happiness. Money is not very important to me so I work just enough to fulfill my basic needs and spend the rest of my time seeking fulfilling experiences. I want to spend my life learning, growing, and facing all of my fears. Generally I am very high-energy; I try to project that energy into any situation to make it a good time. I love being around people and building connections and relationships with anyone who has value to offer me. Currently Sassy (my very alternative cat) and I are penthouse crashing in the center of Portland.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Part of my life plan is to travel; and if you are a couch surfer yourself then I don't have to explain why! At 20 years old, I have limited experience traveling except for family vacations/school trips etc, so this is really the beginning of my career as a part-time nomad. This site will be a helpful tool to make that happen.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met up with a few visitors to Portland and hosted over night for the first time in December. Everything's been great so far.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some books I like: Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl; The Omnivore's Dilemma and In Defense of Food, both by Michael Pollan; The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins; Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy; Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead by Ayn Rand; Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky; The Lord of the Rings trilogy by Tolkien; 1984 by Orwell; Benjamin Franklin's autobiography; and the short stories of Poe, Hemingway, and Dahl.
