ABOUT ME

What would my best friends say about me? I guess it'd be that I'm a person who loves and needs to be occupied the entire time.. and who can't stand staying at home! I'm not a tv-fan: I'd rather travel, walk, swim, read a book in a park, go see a nice exhibition or cycling.. :) What else, I am currently travelling the south Pacific

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When two friends and I were travelling the Outer Hebrides, on our first night we got to Catlebay, Barra. We found out that the only one hostel, and actually any other kind of accomodation, was booked :S It was raining. A lot. We decided to go to the only little pub 'in town' and ask there. After a good 40 minutes of terror (the pub would close in half and hour) a nice couple from Ireland offered us their tent. I went with the guy to get it and by the time we got back another lovely couple had offered my friends their couch. We welcomed the second offer with three huge smiles on our faces :)
