Présentation
À propos de moi
Hi there!
I'm a passionate language educator and researcher with a love for cultural exchange and meaningful conversations. I'm specialized in Italian language teaching and exploring themes of identity, belonging, and interculturality.
I've lived 13 years in Brazil, spent some years in Portugal and some months in England, and now I'm back in Italy—though I'm always ready to pack my bags and explore as much as possible! I love cooking (Italian pasta guaranteed for new friends), cycling, discovering new places, and learning about fresh perspectives on life and the world.
I consider myself an easygoing and open-minded person.
I am a fan of slow travel: I don't collect destinations, but I prefer to truly get to know a place and its culture whenever I have the opportunity.
I hold a PhD in Applied Linguistics and I've just started teaching in a school in Treviso, Italy.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I’m here to connect with people from all over the world, share experiences, and learn new perspectives. I believe in the power of cultural exchange to broaden our horizons and create meaningful connections. Traveling and meeting locals is the best way to truly experience a place, and I’m excited to both be hosted and eventually host others when I settle down (sorry, I've just arrived in Italy and I'm still looking for a place). Plus, I love sharing stories, good food, and laughs along the way!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I have a diverse taste in music, with a love for samba and Brazilian MPB (Caetano, Beth Carvalho, Casuarina, Bethania, Gilberto Gil and others), which remind me of my years in Brazil, as well as the songs of Italian songwriters (De André, Guccini, Dalla, Modena City Ramblers, Negrita and others).
When it comes to books, I’m passionate about literature that tackles social themes (last book by Michela Murgia), blending classic Italian authors (Levi, Natalia Ginzburg, Calvino) with contemporary works that explore identity, migration, and belonging (Walsh, Grosfoguel, Baumann, Byung-chul Han).
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
One amazing thing I've done is learning to truly enjoy my own company and embrace the freedom to do what I love, whether with friends or on my own. This mindset has allowed me to travel spontaneously, meet people and enjoy the moment!
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
A good conversation, cultural exchange, or simply lending a hand in the kitchen. I can share my knowledge about Italy and Brazil, teach you some words in Italian or Portuguese, show you around.
