I'm Fran, originally from Sheffield in England. After graduating from Newcastle university (UK) I spent a year working in the steel industry before leaving to travel and see a different side of life other than the 9-5.

My current travel plans are taking me from Thailand down to Australia . During my travels I like a fairly equal balance between beach/mountain/city but I tend towards the more active the better. For me there's nothing better than a good chat over a pint after a day doing something new.

At home I keep pretty active, enjoying swimming and playing netball a few times a week. I can enthuse over these for days...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching a watering hole in Etosha National Park, Namibia over several days was one of the best experiences of my life. Lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, springbok, kudu I could go on - the lion king in real life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a positive, relaxed traveller, comfortable with sightseeing and a coffee or a 12 hour trek round a mountain. I am always up for an adventure, beer and a good laugh.
