What I Can Share with Hosts
2016/17 was the first time I actually used Couchsurfing and I'm happy to say that after several stays with hosts, I've become a HUGE believer/supporter of this amazing concept. I have met diverse and wonderful people and through them got to know their cities, enhancing my overall travel experience by so much!
As a surfer, I try to be as low maintenance as possible- I don’t expect anyone to entertain/plan my entire stay for me, I’m very self sufficient. If you have time/want to hang out or go for a meal or drink I’m certainly always happy to! But don’t worry: I don’t need a babysitter, I realize you have work/school/a life and I try as much as I can not to inconvenience my hosts :)
