I started Dual Sport School and Adventure Rides in Utah. I plan to explore South America by motorcycle for 1 year in 2018 with my daughter. I am the father of 2 girls. I wouldn't say that I am a perpetual traveler... but I do love to travel, explore, and learn. I am interested in bringing more attention to the dual sport motorcycle industry, and helping to teach as many as possible how to safely enjoy the sport. I am in the process of riding around the US and Mexico... and eventually the world. Between Jan - Mar 2016, I will log over 10,000 miles on motorcycle.

When traveling, I find that the best way to learn about and enjoy new places is by visiting with locals. After all, why travel and explore if you can't interact with new people in the new places. I am looking forward to total immersion into as many new cultures as possible.

Rode a bicycle coast to coast from Cape Hatteras, NC to Eureka, CA in 5 weeks,
broke my back skiing and rode motorcycle off 100' cliff within the same year,
I built an earthbag house in Wyoming,
first to ride 1200 cc motorcycle over Elephant Hill in Canyonlands,
dropped off by heli in Canada on glacier to camp for 3 days - saw northern lights from a glacier.
