Mi nombre es Fran. Soy español y actualmente resido en Oxford - Reino Unido, donde tengo la suerte de trabajar como parte del gran equipo de desarrollo y producción de la vacuna Covid AstraZeneca.
Me considero una persona extrovertida, atrevida, sincera, inquieta y con un hambre voraz por conocer todo lo que este mundo nos depara.
Dentro de mis grandes aficiones se encuentran los deportes al aire libre y el gimnasio, el cual me ayuda a mantenerme en forma tanto física como mentalmente.
P.D: No solo se trata de visitar nuevos países y conocer otras culturas, sino de hacer grandes amigos con los que compartir maravillosas aventuras.

I’m Fran, a Spanish guy who lives in Oxford-UK and works as a part of the great development and production team for the Covid vaccine AstraZeneca.
I consider myself an extrovert , adventurous, honest and lovely person with an insatiable predisposition to meet everything this world has to show us.
I really love outdoor sports and going to the gym, which helps me a lot to keep myself healthy not only physically but also mentally.
P.s: It's not just about travelling around and meet new cultures, it is more about meeting great people who develop a good friendship with and sharing amazing moments which become great memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Después de terminar la Universidad, tuve mucha suerte de encontrar un trabajo donde desempeñar todo lo que había aprendido. Sin embargo, esta experiencia me cambió completamente tanto a mi como la manera en la que yo me percibía a mi mismo. Estuve trabajando 7 duros y largos meses, en los cuales me trataron como basura y me hicieron sentir que no servia para nada. Cuando me di cuenta, había perdido completamente mi identidad y ya no sabia ni quien era, simplemente era otro esclavo mas del mundo laboral.
En el ultimo momento, cuando creía que ya no me quedaban mas opciones que escoger, decidí abandonar todo lo que tenia y perseguir el que había sido mi sueño desde pequeño: vivir y trabajar en el extranjero.
Finalmente aqui estoy, viviendo en Oxford y trabajando como Biotecnlogo produciendo la vacuna contra el Covid. Pero sabes que es lo mejor de todo? No es el dinero o la posición que tengo, sino el maravilloso equipo con el que trabajo y el cual me hace valorarme a mi y lo que hago día tras día.

After finishing my degree I was so lucky to find a job where I was able to carry out my academic knowledges. However, this experience changed me completely and the way with which looking at myself wasn't the same. I was working there 7 horrible months where I was treated like a shit and where I felt myself totally useless. My personal feelings dissapeared completely and I just was another machine of this industrial world. Close to get the worst madness I decided to leave everything and to try to achieve the dream I have had since I was a child: Living and working abroad.
Finally here I am, living in Oxford and working as a Senior Biotechnologist doing the fucking covid vaccine. But you know what? I'm not only happy for the salary or position I have but also for the amazing team I work with and help me to love myself and what I'm doing every day.

Learning English, different cultures and meet people.
I can teach my language (Spanish) and traditional customs which could be funny and super interesting. And of course, whitout forgetting the aim of this adventure: Enjoy and have fun a lot!
