CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world to broaden my mind!!!

ABOUT ME

I was born in Asunción but I live in Washington, DC. I studied at university to become a Spanish language teacher. I like meeting people and making new friends. I currently work as Spanish teacher. I like reading, teaching, traveling and going to restaurants and the beach. I really enjoy doing favors!!! I'm not picky at all and I like studying and working hard.

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard for a better future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can hang out with people in DC.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a lot of good experiences with this website. I was hosted by Jay Walsh from San Francisco who introduced me to his really nice friends there. I was also hosted by Will Whitlow from New York City. Both of them were very nice to me and helpful when I visited their cities.
I have also been hosted by Rusty Butler in West Palm Beach-Florida and by Jim Nathan in Washington, DC. Both of them hosted me twice!!!

Interests

I like to teach, work hard and travel the world to learn about other cultures. I also enjoy meeting and talking to people from different countries. I like helping people, skating, biking, sightseeing, going to restaurants, the beach and parks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not a movie fan but I had a fantastic time visiting the movie industries in HOLLYWOOD. My favorite movie is “Man on Fire”. Sometimes I am too sensitive, and this movie made feel very sad.
My favorite book is "La Babosa" which is a typically Paraguayan book that describes the Paraguayan society. I read it when I was 18 years old. I enjoyed reading it very much and learned a lot about my own culture through this book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw when a huge plane crashed down 1 block from my house in Paraguay when I was 12 years old. I'll never forget that experience. That experience made me feel afraid of planes but now everything is ok with them. Now I enjoy flying.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish and English. I can also share the experiences I had during my trips and of course my home country (languages, food, popular places and customs).
