ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Francisco. Despite I was born in Buenos Aires I moved to Mar del Plata when I was 5 years old. I also lived in Tandil (a city which is 170 km far) while I was studying at the university and in Belfast, Northern Ireland after I finished university :).
I am a freelancer software engineer so I mostly work from home or any place I can get WIFI. If I am not traveling around the world with my laptop I am at home, willing to host anyone who needs it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the idea of sharing experiences, points of view, thoughts or just a beer with travelers visiting my city. Even just helping travelers with accommodation or anything I can do is very gratifying. I like to do it when I am traveling but even more when I am at home.

So far I was hosted in Toulouse, Lyon, Bratislava and Madrid. They were great experiences!

Interests

I like to hang out with friends, travelling (a lot), reading books, watching movies, and those kind of things.
I also like philosophy a lot, so last year I signed up at the university for studying it in my free time. So far so good.
Last summer I started surfing but I am very bad. Let's see if this summer I improve my skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many movies and books. It wouldn't be fair just to list some and leave others out but if I have to name a few they would be: Inception, Matrix, The Shawshank Redemption, Kill Bill and MANY MORE!
I also live series and I watch them a lot. Dr. House, How I met your mother, Dexter, The walking dead, The Wire, True Detective, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos....

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you the city, going for a drink or dinner to some of the cool places there are in the city.
I used to dance tango for a while (I don't do it any more) but if you are interested in it we can go to a few classes or a "milonga".
I am a bit busy during the week but free in the weekends.
