Holaaaaa and hello! Caleña that relocated to the states pretty early but made it a point to travel back to Colombia as much as possible. Going on my third year as a nomad. Me encanta viajar y normalmente viajó con mi mascota. Looooove going to local places you won’t see on the food channel and “hole in the wall” places. The grittier the better. Active and open to all new adventures. Please don’t let my lack of hosting be mistaken for someone that only uses the app for a “free surf”. I was informed of this app when I first started my nomad year but I promise as soon as I settle down somewhere I’m open to hosting to return the favor to my fellow travelers. Or thank my host with a free meal in Colombia if they’re ever up for it. As a guest, I’m happy to return the favor with a gift, cleaning, cooking, buying groceries. I want it to be understood by both parties that your time and space are both appreciated and respected and won’t be taken advantage of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Anyone whose travelled knows that it comes in handy to have someone on your side. What better person to have than a local and a fellow lover of traveling and the unknown of meeting new personalities in the process! Unfortuantely I only recently discovered this community last 2021 when traveling opened up again so please don't let my lack of hosting experience fool you. I'm a very hospitable person and love helping out however I can. Be it cleaning, cooking, or just taking you out for a few drinks/dinner. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Not my favorite but off the top of my head I generally love a good old super sad Mexican song that makes me want to cry while singing it even though life is great lol.🤣 Movies: too many to name a favorite but off the top of my head …pulp fiction, mystic river, midnight in Paris, Oldboy, silence of the lambs, Godfather l and ll. Books: Also too many!! Brief and wondrous life of Oscar wao, the little prince, a little life, I wrote this for you, John dies at the end. Sooooo many!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sold almost everything I owned and left my somewhat comfortable life behind for a “winging it” style way of living life…(for now.) and by the way…if you see this and did or are planning to do the same. DO IT!!! It’s been over 2 years now and I’m loving it!!!
