I'm 24 years old, I'm a journalist and embroiderer. I was born in the interior of Minas Gerais and I live in the state capital, Belo Horizonte, for more than a decade. I've been living with my boyfriend, the journalist Alex, in the city center for four years. I currently work with social media for a restaurant chain specializing in salads.

Alex and I love to welcome visitors to our apartment in a historic building in Belo Horizonte, where we enjoy listening to vinyl, cooking and playing guitar, while drinking beer or wine. We really enjoy exploring the cities - the ones we live in and the ones we visit. So we enjoy going for a walk and are not afraid to walk.

INTERESTS? I love cooking, and Alex does not like it very much. Music, film and literature are common interests. We love visiting museums and we like to watch music and theater shows.

We are producers of an authorial music festival that takes place in the interior of Minas Gerais, the Lacustre Festival.

On trips, we want to know the cities we go through. We love walking on foot to experience every little piece of ground. Knowing the history of the place through architecture, stories and museums is also something that attracted us. And of course we want to get to know the local life, know where the community has lunch or breakfast, and the best place for a happy hour.

We love jazz, rock, bossa nova, MPB, samba, rap, funk...

We love beats, such as Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg, and we like classic authors such as Dostoyevsky, Victor Hugo... Raymond Chandler and Agatha Cristhie are among the favorites in the police literature. George Orwell and Audouls Huxley are the kind that make us think. Among the Brazilian authors we love Carlos Drummond de Andrade, João Guimarães Rosa, Machado de Assis, Clarice Lispector, Caio Fernando Abreu, Nelson Rodrigues and others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are organized and silent. We do not like to bother anyone. If you want good conversation and great stories, we can talk about so many things in life and in the world for hours and hours... And, if you like embroidery, we can prepare some of this!
