About Me
Hallo, Hola and Hi everyone!
I am Franca from Germany.
In 3 words I would describe myself as an OPEN-MINDED, ACTIVE and CREATIVE person.
Experiences that have made me the person I am today are: living in a patchwork-family, watching children (Aupair), studying and living in Spain, going to school in the United States, all kinds of travel experiences and people that have crossed my path of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get to know new people who also love to travel.
To get to know new cultures, languages and food.
To share travel experience.
To avoid the rising costs of accommodation while traveling and make people feel welcome in a foreign city/country.
To show people that living in the Ruhrarea (German: Ruhrgebiet) is nice and that the cities are very interesting.
Interests
I love doing sports more than watching it. I am playing soccer in a team since I am 13 years old. But I also like to play basketball and volleyball, running and acrobatics. In general I am open for every type of sport.
Besides doing sports one of my favourite things to do is artisanry. Mostly I sow cloth and small backpacks. Sometimes I am building furniture for example out of wooden pallets. I also do decorations and jewelry.
As well I have a little garden where I grow some of my own food. I like to spend time outside because it gives me new energy and you can enjoy the beauty of different landscapes.
I enjoy spending time with friends, backing or cooking for them.
The one thing I would always spend my money on if I have some is traveling. I love to get to know different places, cultures and meet peoples from all over the world. My biggest dream is to travel through Southamerica for a longer time.
