I am moving to Washington after traveling for almost a year. I have been to the East Coast (D.C., Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida-some of those were not during this year) I have been down south(Georia-which oddly enough I loved though I didn't think I would. I am a born Texan though) I lived in the Midwest for almost 20 years and recently spent time on the West Coast(San Francisco, Seattle, Bellingham- have not been to Portland yet, but that is coming).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing for times that I desire to spend a night with amazing locals who don't mind helping me out. I also plan to host surfers at a time after I have my own special place. Also when I need an in between time place for a night or two.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Four Agreements by Don Miquel, is one of my favorite books. I prefer instrumental music, the type similar to meditation sounds. The range of movies I enjoy are as varied as my interest from Cloud Atlas to While You Were Sleeping.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just being me is amazing the times I have the chance, being free and quiet in my mind. This might seem arrogant but I grew up a stressed fearful child and adult to be free of that is just awesome and overwhelming. (Breaking free from old habits)

I spent time in the south with a relative and enjoyed the friendliness of the Savannah area. On most days I would walk out in the sunshine and enjoy the feel of the warmth on my skin. I went there to think and not think just relax for a while. I was in a convenient location to everything I needed, but there wasn't much nature. We did visit Tybee Island where I was able to see the ocean.

On a special weekend we visited Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where we laid on the beach enjoying the ocean views, that was my favorite time. There was loud nightlife too but it wasn't my favorite although it help to mix it up a bit.

I have had an amazing CS experience in Toronto with a new member. She was the perfect hostess and we spent time at a game cafe eating and playing whilte getting to know one another.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope that I teach more with actions than words but I hope I can share something useful to all that I meant, whether are not they agree its still nice to release what comes through me for that person, at times it is special for them.
I am full of ideas/thoughts/creative energy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share loads of random information because I am always researching and learning new things, mostly what I learn on a certain day applies to people I meet afterward. I rarely find a topic that I do not have some tid bit to share with others about.
