About Me

I'm an easygoing person, curious and hard working, love a good party, eating, drinking and going out but I'm also super into reading, meditation and walking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently looking for some accommodation and buddies in Seville in the month of May when I'll be there on an intensive Spanish course. But more generally I love learning about a place from the locals and I hope I can do some hosting myself soon (my old flatmates and I had a few people stay through one of the other flatmates' accounts, and we met some awesome people). I'm really into the idea of putting good energy into the world and getting good energy out, so I think the whole idea of couchsurfing is great.

Interests

I love the outdoors, art, music (especially live, but I'm also into bass heavy electronic music), reading, cooking and eating, philosophy, yoga, and bad dancing. Lots of stuff. New experiences in general! I've been trying to get better at practical skills so I am really happy for a chance to learn anything. Gardening is my latest one! (Unless hula hoop counts?)

Music, Movies, and Books

It's so hard to pick favourites... currently I've been listening to lots of Ghostpoet, Songhoy Blues (an awesome young blues band from Mali - check em out) and Easy Star All Stars who are cheesy but I like it. I was a metal kid and I'm not adverse to belting out a bit of something ridiculous in the car. I like a good singer songwriter at an open mic night and electronic music as well although I'm not really into House music (I've tried!). I don't watch a lot of movies, if I've got a couple of hours I'll probably burn through some David Attenborough.
There's too much to say about books - let's have a chat about it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll be learning Spanish so I hope I can get some practice in but I'm very happy to help with learning English too. I can teach you some Welsh words just for fun (Popty Ping is microwave, that's everyone's favourite!) Let's do some cooking together if you're into it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm good at interior decoration so would be glad to help if you have any painting or anything like that to do. I'm very happy to do some cooking, cleaning etc if that will help you out, and at times I'll have access to a car so if I can take you somewhere or help you pick something up that would be fine too :)
