About Me
This is what you'll find out if we meet! But here's a conversation starter: if I had to give up one of my five senses, I think I'd sacrifice smell.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
New to a remote working situation, I'm trying to make the most of this flexibility. Meeting new people gives me energy, and the Couchsurfing community seems to be a group of adventurous, friendly, fun people.
Though I heard of the resource a few months ago, a last minute flight cancellation is what really spurred me to check out Couchsurfing now.
It seems like a better idea than Tinder right now.
Interests
Meeting new people, playing sports for fun, summer weather, food, laughter.
I love all pets, but I'm partial to german shepherds.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Start singing your favorite song, 99% of the time I'll join in. Test me :)
If I tried to name my favorite music, I'd be here all night. Let's go to a concert instead. Can't stop listening to: the song Harlem by the band Cathedrals. I share a birthday with 50 Cent, so that's a pretty special bond.
Movies: they're great but I don't usually watch one more than once. Speaking of once, Once is a fantastic movie, musical, and soundtrack. I still need to watch the last half hour of Jurassic World.
Books: Now that I'm out of college, I'm looking for recommendations of books to read for pleasure. My mom is a librarian. Last book read: Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode an ostrich.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you to rap Ice Ice Baby. If you have questions related to graphic design (Either technical, like, "how the hell do I use Photoshop?" or opinion, like, "is this ugly?") I'll help you out.
Learn: any language, cooking, musical skills. Actually, one of my 2016 resolutions was to learn at least one skill each month. In January I learned to properly shuffle a deck of cards. Gotta start small.
Share: laughter, music, conversation. I can bring something from Maryland, but I don't think you want a steamed crab. Maybe a can of Old Bay.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll probably make you laugh. I promise to wash the dishes!
