About Me

CURRENT MISSION

goin' til the money run's out

ABOUT ME

I am an enthusiastic person who values friendship, family, and being outdoors. My parents are total hippies and I couldn't have asked for a better upbringing. My siblings and I grew up with lots of camping, hiking, traveling, and adventures. I love a good laugh, spontaneity, and genuine people.

I am in my final semester of University and decided to spend the last year abroad in Germany finishing up my International Business courses. I will graduate in May 2010, but I am not sure what I want to do after (work, peace corps, or grad school). I am trying to take full advantage of my time here--so I am eager to travel to as many places as possible while I am in Europe (til April 2010) and will go til the money runs out. :)

PHILOSOPHY

a burrito is like life, a well hidden mess

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never been couch surfing before but I have heard from several close friends that it is a great opportunity that brings together people. I am looking forward to couch surfing soon!

Interests

I am interested in traveling, different cultures, international food (particularly Thai and Ghanian--spicy!), and warm weather. I like reading, movies, running, and other outdoor activities (camping, swimming, hiking, rafting, etc...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was fortunate enough to be able to watch both a sunrise and sunset on both the North and South rims of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA. It was breath-taking and I am lucky to have been able to share the moment with my family.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have worked with and learned from many international students at my University in Illinois. I have many great stories about all of the cultural mishaps and good times we have shared together.

I can tell you stories about most of the National Parks in the US (that is where my family camped, hiked, vacationed during my childhood).
