Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I have participated in CS by hosting couchsurfers in Manila and by surfing in my recent travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate and I have hosted a few people and so far, it's been really great! We got to know our guests and had some good and sometimes crazy conversations with them. It's always interesting to know people from different cultures, different backgrounds. We usually invite some of our friends when we go out with our guests and it's been really fun. Hosting is good because from the stories we hear from our guests, it's like halfway to making the trip ourselves. Our first couchsurfers were a couple from France who are currently on a 3-year world tour on their bicycles. Philippines was their 19th country. It's just amazing hearing all the stories and experiences shared. =)

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I like films by Wong Kar Wai since I just watched My Blueberry Nights. I loved it as well as the Chungking Express. Love Actually and Ever After are the two feel good movies I like the most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just being able to travel is already amazing. I would like to do more of it. I just can't get enough of it!!

I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. I think I learn a lot about life from these different meetings.
