About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be myself, in every possible way. To not be afraid of being who I am.

ABOUT ME

I talk too much, but only because I have too much to say, and never enough time. I like to document everything I do; in photographs and words. I keep a diary and have been doing so for 5 years. I don't want to forget what was important to me.
I eat a lot, because a healthy appetite is good for the soul. I am good at cooking and baking, or so I have been told. I love to cook for my friends.
I laugh a lot, and love too much. I am definitely an optimist.
I am very good at hugging.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed once and hosted once, and plan to do a lot more of both in the future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Visiting Amsterdam was amazing. I am sure that if I had stayed in a hostel with my own friends I would not have enjoyed myself as much. Couch Surfing is the best way to meet a city and it's people!

Interests

Interesting and engaging people; people I meet at work, who have stories to tell.
Cycling, reading, taking photos, cooking, talking about absolutely anything.
I love to be surprised, by myself, or by other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films I re-watch regularly:
Me and You and Everyone We Know
Submarine
Amelie
Happy Go lucky

One of my favourite Books is 1984 by George Orwell. I also love many of John Wyndham's post apocalyptic novels.

My all time favourite musician is Bright Eyes. I also love Explosions in the Sky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I run a Story session for children at the Library where I work. They are all under 5, and they are all little geniuses in my mind. They will hopefully remember me, as the Library Lady, when they grow up, and this makes me feel awestruck.

I recently cycled across Denmark, alone. I saw many amazing things on my way, and learnt a lot about myself and my limits. It rally was the holiday of a lifetime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn Welsh, or French.
I like to bake, so maybe I could teach you how to make my favourite cake; Banana&Sultana Bread.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Malaysia, Morocco, Singapore, Spain, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
