About Me

I'm from Turin, Italy, and I just finish a master in Anthropology at University of Nice, France.
I would like to spend my time in new useful experiences for me and for others, to travel and to discover the world.
At school I only study french, so my english is not so fluently, but I love to improve it through conversations with new people and also learn new languages (I know some words in Hindi, Swahili, Djoula, Arabic).
I like traveling, meeting new ways of perceiving reality and learn things that I don't know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that the best way to travel (and live) is to share : moments, passions and ideas, food, new discoveries, doubts, fears...to share the way we see the world.
Couchsurfing is a possibility to meet new people, to learn from each other and to share this world.

Interests

I love nature, staying on the trees, listening the sound of the sea.
I'm not so good at cooking but I'd like to learn.
I'm trying to learn to play ukulele and didjeridoo.
I play flowerstick, a juggling tool, it's amazing.
I like going at photo and art exhibitions.
I follow an african dance class and a contemporary dance class, but I really love any kind of dance.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, in general, because it has the power to create communication between people. I'm used to listening different kind of music, depending on the mood : folk, rock, blues, jazz, italian and french songwriters, afrobeat. I like to discover the local music of the places I visit.
I like whatching documentary, art films and comedy.
I like reading anthropological and sociological essays to explore human society. I also read novels and I would like to read more poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a solo trip to southern Italy, only my backpack, a flowerstick and me. I got lost in the mountains in Calabria and I was rescued by an old man from a small village. I spent the night talking with the owners of a bar waiting for the morning train.
I saw a beautiful sunset on the beach, and I tried many local specialties.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will gladly share stories, ideas and music (and a good pasta, of course ;) )
