Overview
About Me
*currently travelling, I'll be back in Haining in September* I'm a 26 year old Italian who loves to discover new cultures and challenge herself. I love travelling and meeting new friends, trying new foods and see the beauty in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel solo I tend to get shy and not make the first move to meet new people, I think Couchsurfing could help me meet new friends.
Interests
Every time a friend shows me something new, you can be sure I'll get so into it it'll become part of my interests. I'm a bit of a nerd, I love learning about international politics and discussing it with friends, I keep myself company listening to podcasts all day, I cook to relax and I do self care through skincare. I loooove watching RuPaul's Drag Race and going to karaoke - even better if the two happen on the same night. Hobbies are what make you who you are, and what allow you to create a beautiful community of people. I can't wait to add more interests to the list, I hope to find them through travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music is definitely pop music and R&B, whether it's 80s pop or early 2000s R&B, I will be dancing to it. I also really enjoy Italian music from the 70s and 80s, often my go-to at karaoke!
I don't have a favourite movie, I enjoy rom coms and comedies in general, but I also love watching a good TV series, whether drama or comedy.
My favourite books are Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and the House of Spirits by Isabel Allende. My favourite genre of writing is magic realism because it makes you feel like you're living and breathing in the surroundings authors describe, living the protagonists' lives with them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done is moving abroad at 19, without really understanding how crazy that was. I lived for three years in the UK and another one in the Netherlands. Now I live in China and I'm so glad I've taught myself how to be on my own since I was very young, it makes me feel empowered and allows me to look at the world through different lenses.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll definitely teach you how to cook some Italian food and will be super happy to go out and explore together!
