I'm Francesca, 33 years old. I'm a freelance 2D animator, animation director, illustrator and character designer.
I'm italian but I live in Angouleme (France) since june 2016. I talks a good French and I speak a -not perfect- English.
I'm a quiet person, very friendly but shy too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing for meeting people, and discovering countries in a different way.

Interests

Drawing it's my main activity, and I'm lucky to work with it. It was my first passion and this simple fact is not changed. I like solitary activities (drawing, reading, painting), because I like having a private space, to dedicate time to myself. At the same time I love people, and really enjoy conversations, sports, and shared experiences.
Travelling gives to me a lot of energy and motivations; during my travels I met wonderful people which inspired me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a specific favourite genre of music; it depends from how I feel, and people I'm with :)
In general I like soundracks, classical music, pop, 80's-90's songs (because I'm sooo nostalgic!)
I play a little bit the piano, and I'm learning ukulele.

About books, my favourite writers are Pessoa, Saramago, Carver, Virginia Woolf, Hesse (and the list could be longer!) I read also a lot of comics, and when I was a teenager I was a manga lover!

About movies, I'm not sure to have a favourite one.
Some title which inspired me: "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", The Consequences of Love, "Amarcord", "Spirited Away", "Mary and Max". Of course I love animated short film too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested to everything! I'm curious about languages, food, experiences! I could teach italian, and I like cooking (I'm not the best chef in the world, but I know how to do a good pasta)
