Currently in Marseille, France

Ciao! I was born and raised in Florence, Italy and currently working in an association in Marseille. I don't know how to define myself.. but I have quite a few friends so I guess my company can be enjoyable.

In my spare time, I like taking long walks in parks or in the city centre, where I can stop for a coffee and a good book. I am a creative person and I like to scribble, make arts and crafts etc. I also like debating and attending cultural events. Music is a big part in my life, although I don't play any instrument I try to see as many concerts and live events as I can, I love dancing and singing out loud. I also have a thing for abadoned places - can't explain why, but their creepy fascination intrigues me.

With my current job I have less time to travel but I've always loved exploring new places, although I like to be more a traveller than a tourist.... I try to form real connection with the places I see and the people I meet, making sense of this great privilege that it is to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing beacause I try to make the most out of travellin, which is not only seeing, but also meeting, knowing, and most of all sharing. And I'd love to share scratches of my life with other human beings!

Music, Movies, and Books

The music I listen really depends on my mood and where I am. I l have a playlist for everything : slow mornings, sunsets and sunrises, gatherings with friends... I'd say I have eclectic tastes. I love old school music, from rock to funky to disco to pop, and any other genre that makes people move like swing. As a matter of fact, I love dancing and I've just started taking Lindy Hop classes (best thing ever).

I like movies and tv series - Captain Fantastic, Forrest Gump, Moulin Rouge, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Trainspotting, Kill Bill and many many Others

As for books, I really like dystopian novels that depicts social issues, for exemple : Lord of the flies, Brave New World... I like reading about real life stories that bring about important issues, but, at the same time, I like to escape from reality through fiction. And, of course, I love italian poetry and literature.
