About Me

10% human, 20% jellyfish, 20% fire and 50% ever changing substance

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a part of my (hidden internal) contradictions, I'm keen on keep going and travelling on my own but at the same time I love sharing moments and experiences and find persons by 'chance'. CS is a lottery, I like playing and seeing what's to come.

Interests

Well...what else? Random information: I'm enthusiastic about old forgotten musical instruments and folk songs: teach me new ones and I'll be grateful to you lifelong. I collect sea shells- already have a huge archive but I want more and from all over the world. When travelling, always go with my backpack-that's the reason of those red marks you can see on my shoulders in my profile photo. I hate suitcases, trolleys and dragging things in general. I want to carry things, no matter how heavy it is going to be ;)
At times I have to draw. To stay sane, I mean.
I'm obsessed with hexagons and number 9. And, ah! Dates and dates of birth. Anagrams and plays on words. I'm always hunting coincidences, weird details and all the meaningless things that make life special.

Music, Movies, and Books

OK. This is going to be a big mess.
Books: I'm staring at my library and I'm going to randomly pick up few names leaving alone all the atlas, collections and folk-traditional tales book with no author: W.B.Yeats, G. Bruno, W. Goethe, Aeschylus, Sophocles, Heraclitus, A. Lurija, E. A. Poe, J. Conrad, J. L. Borges, F. Nietzsche, W. S. Burroughs, C. Baudelaire, W. Blake, S. Kierkegaard, R.M.Rilke, G. Apollinaire, E.T.A. Hoffmann, J. Keats, H. Hesse, T.S. Eliot...let's stop :)
Music: I span from traditional timeless music to...well, mostly I stop at the '90, with few exceptions. Some names, very randomly: Pink Floyd, Genesis (w P. Gabriel, better), Fairport Convention, Pentangle (and B. Jansch), Malicorne, Talking Heads, Velvet Underground, Joy Division, Pixies, The Smiths, Noir Désir, J. Mitchell, G. de Machaut, J. Savall, F. Lajko, A. Branduardi, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Doors, Television, Spriguns, Dead Can Dance, J. Desprez, J.C. Frank, A. Stivell, Camel, V. Parra, M. Boine, M. Aranda, A. Alcaide, K. Bush, G. Russo, F. Battiato...random and enough XD
Movies: this is pretty easy. I'm quite ignorant when it comes to cinema :D
Movies that left a strong impression on me (of the few that I have seen): Apocalypse now, The Seventh Seal, 2001: A Space Odyssey. Let's quit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I was about to die from laughing. Seriously. I fell off and badly hit my head because of unstoppable laughing. Luckily, I came out of it with no serious damage (at least apparently).
Rode an elephant.
Whisked egg whites with a fork only XD (you haven't seen my arm, that's why you're not understanding why this is really incredible).
When I was 4, I hid myself under a couch. Drove my family crazy...and only came out when they were calling the police. It was such a great fun!
Then, what else? I made some predictions with numbers and got it right.
Maybe there's something else but I'm not gonna say it XD
