Hello! I am currently traveling through Europe with my boyfriend, so here's a bit about both of us! We are Fernando & Francesca, or "Fern & Fran" as our friends like to call us :) We live in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. We are both creative people and passionate designers, but in very different ways. I (Francesca) practice traditional art: painting, drawing, sewing, interior design and landscape design. Fernando delves into the newer-age art forms such as digital art, 3-D animation, video game design, and UX design. We both love to be in nature and get outside as often as we can. We have a passion for traveling, but so far have only traveled together within the United States. I have been fortunate enough to travel to Europe twice before, once while my father was on sabbatical in 2014 in Zaragoza, Spain and again as an au pair in Barcelona in 2016. This is Fernando's first time outside the United States and we are excited to explore, grow, and learn together throughout our trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first learned about couchsurfing back in 2014 from some friends I made while abroad. While I still have not actually couchsurfed yet, I am eager to try. I love that couchsurfing offers a unique way to meet people and experience new cultures from a local's perspective.
