About Me

CURRENTLY
I gladly accept guests BUT I live in a *very small* apartment, you can sleep on the floor on a double mattress which I usually lay down in the kitchen/sitting room.

GENERAL INFO
After a few years abroad, I moved back to Italy at the end of 2020 and it took me almost 2 years to readjust :) #reversecultureshock they call it. I've lived in Bologna since summer 2021 and even if I'm not the perfect city guide, I can recommend some local places and tell you interesting facts.
I teach English in a secondary school and in my free time I like reading and writing. I'm also a very enthusiastic newbie at Zumba and yoga and long-time documentaries lover, too. I sing a lot when I am home alone and I am always up to learn new languages and to spend money on books.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I attended my first CS meeting when I was living in Rabat, Morocco. I friend of mine brought me in and I realized that this network links the people I love meeting during my trips. Visiting new countries is not only a matter of sightseeing, what I look for is diving into different cultures, making new experiences and discovering points of view which enrich me as a human being.

Homo sum, humani nihil a me alienum puto. (Terenzio)
"I am a human, and I think nothing human is alien to me."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm particularly proud of a hitchhiking experience I did for 2016 New Year's Eve. I went with two friends from Casablanca to Dakhla (both in Morocco, 1600Km) in 2 days, raising our thumbs and finding amazing people on the road.
