About Me
Hi there! I'm Francesca and I'm a master student in Biomedical Engineering. What fascinates me the most during trips is other people's stories of life, especially when recounting travels and uncommon experiences, or sharing pieces of knowledge on amazing corners of the world to be discovered.
I'm a sociable person and, depending on what is needed, I can be very serious and concentrated or outgoing and talkative. I like music in all its forms and what satisfies me the most is to scout very talented but unknown artists and share their music with people I know could appreciate it; I love having many things to do during the day and diversify the situations I deal with; I'm keen on sports and definitely a risk-taker, I have a past in sailing and when I have the opportunity I love skiing; I love reading but lately I'm mostly dealing with University readings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I was 5 years old I have had the propensity to be a world citizen and travel alone, since I used to go on vacation on my own in trips organized for children.
My passion to travel around the world is now bigger than ever and I'm particularly fascinated by trips during which I can get in touch with locals and experience as much as I can from the real living of the places I visit, and I consider couchsurfing as the most amazing mean to achieve this purpose.
That's the reason why I embarked on challenging trips like "O caminho de Santiago - portugues " across Portugal and Spaing, and "La via degli dei" in Italy.
Countries I’ve Visited
