Hi! :)

I was born and bred in Southern Italy but I lived in Belgium for one year and in Ireland for six months.
I am currently living in Iceland, where I am studying Old Icelandic and Sagas.

I first fell in love with Ireland when I visited it the first time, as a teenager. I promised myself I would go there again to live and that's what I did. I lived in the city of Dublin while working there as an intern at a private school of English.
I love Irish music, the pubs and the beers (nothing feels cozier an Irish pub on a winter night).

I love travelling by myself. I´m very free-spirited but I like meeting people from other cultures and getting to know their customs and their points of view, in addition to exchanging ideas, recipes and advice on places to visit. I also like learning languages and I love hearing people speak in their languages, and learning them!

I wrote both my BA Thesis and my MA Dissertation on Germanic Philology (Norse Mythology and Riddarasögur) - and I am currently studying Old Icelandic, the Sagas, Scandinavian History and Manuscripts at Háskóli Íslands.
I like learning new things about Iceland - the culture, the language and its history.

I would love to visit Vestmannaæyjar, the South Coast and the Northern part, which I haven´t seen yet.

I have many hobbies: I like cooking, watching TV shows and movies, reading, playing the guitar and the piano, writing and hiking, and I love animals (especially the Icelandic horse).

I like reading and writing.
I like baking cakes and cooking.
I love languages and I'm studying English, German and Icelandic.
I love pets! I used to have a beautiful setter named Luna, and I have many tattoos about her.
When I visit a new place I always end up in a museum, a pub, a bookshop or a church, but I also love exploring the outdoors as well.
I really miss playing the piano, which I´ve played since I was a teenager - although I am self-taught, so I´m not a professional :) Guitar: same.
