About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel, explore, have crazy fun and meet amazing people whilst trying to figure out my calling in life..
ABOUT ME
Hi there! My name is Francesca and I want to say a -I don't know for how long- goodbye to England. My interests consist of creative writing, bogging, art, and most importantly partying. The hungry for adventure, curious, indecisive 21 year old that I am just wants to have care free fun for a good few years before I even consider getting my dream career in journalism...I am not satisfied right now and need to satisfy the adventure I crave. Well about me I am fun, laid back, open-minded, creative, pretty smart, reflective and up for anything. However, not very organised and partial to the odd dumb (but hilariously loveable, I promise) moment.
At the end of the day Im a pretty normal, genuine London lady who just wants to get more out of life and believes that your hospitality will help me in doing this!
PHILOSOPHY
Although I did a philosophy degree the best I can come up with is that 'variety is the spice of life'...
And SPONTANEITY keeps everything fresh and exciting
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to travel. Not merely to stay in fancy hotels or see famous landmarks, but to temporarily LIVE in place. I want to meet genuine natives, embrace the culture and experience stuff beyond the average tourist.
From my experience so far of travelling, meeting a local enhances your experience and theres nothing more exciting than really getting to know and feel at home in a foreign city.
Not in a position to offer a couch atm but when I am I would love to return the favour and keep the cycle going!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None as of yet... I have travelled around Euope for 6 weeks in hostels which I loved!

Music, Movies, and Books
Pfft there are so many films yet for me to see but I do love Kill Bill and Sin City and a good gangster film! Music wise I’m afraid it’s the infamous a copout answer: everything. I like different music depending on where I am and what my mood is. A nice bit of DnB on a night out to get me in the zone; a house anthem when I am feeling nostalgic; a classic rock song to chill me out. All are winners. Books- well of course it’ll be my own when they are published in 20years time :)...Frankenstein and Wuthering Heights are up there too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once got to Munich for free in under 30hours raising money for charity. We did this by hitchhiking and blagging trains. It was crazy and a long and hilarious story to tell. I also did it the following year and got to Berlin. Its amazint what you can do and the bravery you can find when you put your mind to it!
Teach, Learn, Share
You can learn something from absolutely any and everyone. I can't easily say the type of people I enjoy meeting and learning from because I never fail to surprise myself with who makes an impact on me....But like most people I like open minded adventurous, interesting and fun people. I have always found in my home of England that I gravitate towards non-natives. I think it’s because foreign people excite and fascinate me and I love to learn about their lives. And I love to know that I can have so much in common with someone from the other side of the world. It's empowering and that alone teaches you so much about the human race.
