ABOUT ME

I am artistic and philosophical, an inner and outer adventurer. My interests are varied. Most of all, I have love for creative expressions of art, music and science, especially that which could be called deep, visionary, shamanic or psychedelic.

I cherish nature, pattern, colour, and clarity.

I get on well with most people and other animals. I can be very quiet, or talkative.

PHILOSOPHY

We all have responsibility for the welfare of the Earth, animals, ourselves and others included. Consciousness of this and of the suffering; call it compassion.

A polish phrase; life is brutal and full of traps, rings true. Life is also beautiful, magical and full of perfectly timed opportunities for growth and evolution. Recognition of these things, might be called wisdom.

I don't know of anything more beautiful than these two; compassion and wisdom. I wish to be their agent.

Interests

To photograph, draw, paint, write, read, make, collate, and mend, and likewise am interested in what others do in these fields. I love food, especially healthy veggie and vegan... Fresh fruit in summertime... Exploring the tastes of different regions of the world.
Ancient languages and architecture.
Research on altered states and the transcendent or paranormal, ancient wisdom and spiritual encounters.
Sound systems and sound theory, live music, jamming, the list goes on...!
One of my main interests is reminding myself that there's no hurry and to let myself be.. balanced by the other voice that always wants something done! And sees the urgency of achieving, the urgency of healing the crisis of civilisation!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Those made with soul and reverence for life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How can I pick just one? Honestly, nothing impressive enough stands out. Just appreciating a flower, loving, living... even the mundane is pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach analogue photography, so also the basics of digital. I can educate in the realms of my interests. Meditation techniques and a few yoga postures. Hand push tattoo.
I like to learn of what is hidden; histories, knowledge, feelings. And anything about the arts or crafts, related skills.
Sharing can be very caring indeed :)
