About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See new places, meeting people and know different cultures

ABOUT ME

Open to meet new friends, especially people who love music and play any instrument.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that life is beautiful because everyone has to discover his way, to built his interests and to realize his dreams. I believe that one day I could say: I'm proud of me", because, whatever I'll do in my life, my life will be the result of my efforts. I want to learn and to see the much possible I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friends told me about couchsurfing and they were entusiastic, so i decided to try.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never done any experience of couchsurfing, I would like to try.

Interests

I study jazz guitar in Turin, and I play in a folk band, the Folhas: we have recorded an EP. I listen, in particular, to the traditional music of South Italy, Ireland and Balkans. I like going to concerts, especially Occitans concerts, because of the very beautiful traditional dances.
I also love philosophy, in particular the authors of the twentieth century, about the postmodern society. My dream is to become teacher.
I've played volleyball for a lot of time, now I've stopped because of the university, but I'm very happy to do a match every time I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to irish traditional music (Gaelic Storm, Punch Brothers, Seth Lakeman, Sara Jarosz), East Balkans music and Klezmer, folk italian music, a bit of jazz and electro swing.
Regarding books, I love dystopian genre (authors such as Orwell, Huxley, Bradbury, Auster, Dick).
I'm not crazy for films, in particular I like love stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've made an holiday with my band. We travelled on a camper in Tuscany and we did busking in the town, selling our cds to a lot of tourists. And then we lived with the money ernead with the music. We had a lot of fun, we met a lot of very strange people and we improved a lot our skills in playing togheter. It has been amazing.
