ABOUT ME

I am smiley!! Especially now that I have dropped out of the corporate world and realised that to work is only to maintain the happiness in your life.

Like so many I have felt the pull to this part of the world. With its spice enriched hot temperatures, stunning scenery, diverse cultures and general wonderfulness, South East Asia will always be a travellers haven. I have family in this part of the world too, which has been an added alliance.

Back home I live on a canal boat, on the beautiful Kennet and Avon canal that runs through Bath. I love my home and miss the daily amble of canal life.

PHILOSOPHY

I think nature has provided us with a beauty that we need to treasure, and although its awesomeness is thrust in our faces everyday we do take it for granted. I think that should stop, along with the media lead culture we live in.
However I do tend to live in my Disney bubble allot of the time. As I am also so amazed by what I see everyday the corruption, guiltily so, can be forgotten and ultimately I live in the moment.

Being the teckno-phobe I am, I have only just discovered coach surfing since I have been travelling.

But given my unique home and stunning surroundings I am definitely hoping to give people the opportunity to see my little utopia.

Interests

I love to have fun!! Which ever form that takes, be it eating or cooking scrumptious meals with friends. Enjoying a gin and tonic on a hot day. Getting stuck into a book or tunnel visioned by a film. As long as it evokes happiness I'm in.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all films, fairly eclectic, except horror films, they give me nightmares. I read continuously, all fiction, I enjoy an epic adventure tale, such as Wilbur Smith, but have also just started enjoying Murakami. And music, again it depends on the mood, I love reggae, drum and bass, dub, but also been known to love a bit of indie, pop, electro swing etc.
