About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Grad school for Integrative health studies

ABOUT ME

I am a total Sagittarius. I'm spontaneous, and I like to be challenged. I get restless easily, and need to travel and be outdoors to feel really free. Making time to be creative is important to me. I think that green tea and yoga solve most ailments. I believe in the humor in everything, and that hugs make everything better!

PHILOSOPHY

Hoy es hoy y ayer se fue. No hay duda. Today is today, and yesterday is gone. There is no doubt!
--Pablo Neruda

Music, Movies, and Books

It is so hard for me to narrow my interests in these categories. (And I am always down to talk about all of them!) reggae, folk, indie rock, trip hop. Cien Años de Soledad, Catch-22, Even Cowgirls get the Blues, East of Eden, Cat's Cradle. Adaptation, Requiem for a Dream, Babel, Vertigo, film noir, surrealism.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Machu Picchu when I was really, really sick. I had been up all night with a fever and could barely breathe, but I didn't want to miss out on what could have been my only opportunity to see it. It was a rare and exquisitely clear day, and I lay in the sun with the llamas for a few hours. The sun and the energy of the place broke my fever and healed me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to do a cartwheel or handstand and make chocolate-chip cookies or veggie food! I am also willing to help you practice Spanish or English. I would like to learn anything you can teach me, but I am especially interested in holistic medicine and nutrition. Other than that, how about we share our lives with each other for a little while?
