About Me

Hey :)
I am an Italian student who loves travelling the world with his camera.
There is nothing more fascinating than getting to know new cultures, which is why I prefer interacting with locals rather than tourists.
I am a very friendly and respectful person, I hope our acquaintance will prove valuable for both of us!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine told me about it and I was particularly impressed by this possibility.
Until now I have never tried anything similar, but I am sure that couchsurfing suits my nature as a 'cultural traveller' who does not want to travel like a tourist but wants to discover the essence of places. In this vein, being hosted by local people could make the experience unique!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm such a movie geek, I love any kind of cinema as long as it is authentic, I even had the opportunity to present a short film at a festival in my city. But at the moment I am more interested in photography. I am interested in art all round, so I am also crazy about reading and music... I think it's really impossible to pick 'favourites' ahahah

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The craziest adventure happened to me in Lagos, Portugal. Two of my friends and I organised a road trip from Lisbon to the southern coast, without being particularly prepared as travellers.
We arrived at a camping zone too late, so we could not check in until the following morning, which meant we had to drive the car for another hour looking for a quiet place to park and spend the night. As Lagos is a very touristy place, it was forbidden to spend the night almost anywhere and the only quiet place to park was in front of a cemetery. To make matters worse, just as we were about to go to sleep, we closed the boot of the car and it broke open. Yes, that's how we spent the night, just slightly scared... In short, a grim horror movie story, but completely real!
