About Me
I'm Francesco ©
A dreamer of new experiences,
colonizer of specificity,
predator of knowledge.
Finding out something which makes my life richer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on this platform because i think it's very currently , revolutionary, simple and intuitive . I could just be happy to be part of it. Thanks to this platform i've the chance to know always new cultures different from mine.
I really want to make you know my humble home, made with stones by my grandfathers after the World War and later on trasformed in a Big family by my mother Norina and my father Mauro that since 25 years are helping disadvantaged people.
After this choise of life they got married, they lost their job and they went on newspapers, they were seen like crazy people and they had to defence themself from riduculous offenses, they had awesome children and they became historical membership of Pope Giovanni XXIII.
They host prisoners, people alone that haven' t anyone who takes care of them, prostitutes, handicapped and aged people: for me they are all my brothers of life and adventure.
I have had since my very first day the possibility to do an apprenticeship about the sharing of souls.
I wish to share all of this also with you that are the welcomed.
Thank you very much.

Music, Movies, and Books
There isn't any favorite song, movie or book, there is the time of that particular artistic action. Music, cinema, reading are instruments of union between people, peace, love and prosperity, social and cultural inclusion. Art is not preferred, art is alive and shared.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The journey that I’ll remember forever.
After 10h of traveling, I landed in Duale, the second biggest city of Camerun Republic 🇨🇲.
6:30 am of a horrible hot morning.
Out of the airport a taxi driver was waiting for me, he took me at the central station and then I continued my travel to Bafoussam city, where Mauro (my dad) was waiting for me.
I had decided to go see what my dad was doing in Africa , I wanted to understand the greatness of that astonishing project to help poor people.
Went for the first time in my life on a yellow vehicle similar to a taxi , setting off for the city's center. The driver was indifferent and maybe was also drunk.
I was hyped and ready for all evenments. After 1h we arrived at the bus station where I waited another 6h, and I started to understand the fact that in Africa if the bus isn't full it doesn't go!
Here we are!! I set off and during this incredible journey many weird happened !
Abusive sellers on the side of street which threw candies, bread or drink into the bus for some money, more or less the air par fumes of a pleasant smell but suddenly a bus's wheel was pierced! STOP!
Holy shit! I couldn’t believe it!
In the middle of a humus road i think i was the only stranger. All the people were quiet such as if nothing was happening.
I thought that sooner or later they would have repaired that wheel...
I was shocked!
I remember I was sitting next to a smelly and fat woman that occupied also my seat. I passed 8h sleeping with a horrible backache, until the bus stopped another time.
I was really scared! There were some armed soldiers screaming a unknown language. They stopped us and since I’m white.. well I was catching everyone’s attention!
I didn't understand a fucking thing! Even now I Still don't know who they were, maybe they were trying to find some escaped or some connection with BokoAram.
I got in another bus, my two bags were thrown on the bus without any security. Without any seat I have done another 4h of travel. We were 16 in a vehicle for 9 people. No Comment.
Finally I arrived at Bafoussam station but I had to wait another 2h! A wall divided the station and the street. Without knowing that my father was waiting for me in the other side I had to pay a child to call him. Finally I saw my dad after a journey of one day and I only wanted to sleep.
Real story.
