About Me

I am curious and open minded, even though I'm a bit shy and introverted; I try to compensate with humour (I really am funny, promise!) and politeness. I like very much travelling and meeting new people and I love to discover cultures and different languages.

I currently work in Milan, so I am only able to host people in Torino during weekends.

I love reading (all kind of books, but especially history books and novels), music, hanging out with friends, clubbing, playing and watching sports (football, tennis and skiing). And drinking beer and good cocktails. I love food too, but I am a terrible cook: not a typical Italian on that, sorry!

I lived in Montpellier for a few months in Erasmus and I've been living in Milan for the past 8 years, always living with other guys and girls: I was lucky enough to always find amazing people and that's why I keep sharing flats.
My hometown is Torino, where I usually come back during weekends and where I'd be happy to host people.

*** PLEASE READ BELOW ***

My view of CS is that it is not just about getting a place where to crash for free. In general, I only accept guests if I feel there is some connection, if I think that we can spend some good time together. This is my view of CS: sharing time and experiences with unknown people. I will therefore not consider generic messages, so keep this in mind before writing me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered CS lately, during a recent trip to Iran, and I had an amazing experience. I think it is one of the best ways to travel, the only one which allows you to really get into a country's culture.
I would love to help other people discover Torino and Milano in this way, both leading around the city, hosting you at my place or giving advices on where to go and what to do.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music: electronic (Fatboy Slim and Prodigy in particular), all kinds of rock (from Rolling Stones to Linkin Park or Green Day), pop music, etc. I couldn't say my single favorite song or artist.

Favorite movies: Collateral and L'Auberge Espagnole (The Spanish Apartment). More generally, adventure and comic movies.

Favorite books: I don't have one favorite onty, I use to read many different genres, from police stories (love Agatha Christie) to history (especially Modern Age, 1450-1815 my favorite era) to classic novels (e.g. Tolstoj, Hugo, Twain) to fantasy (Tolkien, George Martin).
