About Me
Hello!
My name is Francesco Izzo, I'm a 44 years old Italian (and vegetarian!) but I now live in the Philippines where I manage The Bata ng Calabnugan, Inc an NGO I founded in 2005 with my wife Flora Aguit (https://www.islangbata.it/about/bata-ng-calabnugan). We provide a safe and caring environment for orphaned and at-risk girls in Sibulan, Dumaguete City and the surrounding areas in Region VII on the Island of Negros, the Philippines.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I will be in Europe until July 2022 to carry out an awareness and fundraising project called “Go Isla Go. La pedalata per i diritti di ogni bambino!” (“Go Isla Go: The Solidarity Ride”). I am searching for places to stay at in order to minimise the cost of this project!
I am interested in this way of travelling, I hope this is a chance for me to get into this amazing community and meet as many people as possible!
