About Me

Hello everyone!

I am an Italian engineering student, living near the lake of Como in the countryside, but I actually study in Milan.
From September 2014 I am in Erasmus in Liège, Belgium (in the french-speaking side) where I live in a small apartment together with 2 Belgian guys and an other Italian girl who is here in Erasmus too.
The best part of this experience is being always in contact with new people from all around the world, which is a thing I hope I will continue doing with CS as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to CS, and the reason why I am starting using it now is my Erasmus in Belgium: being in the center of Europe allows to visit a lot of different places without having to take trips too long.

Interests

I am really much into music, I used to play in a group with some friends of mine before leaving Italy. More than that I am always looking after concerts or festivals. I went to the Sziget festival in Budapest 3 years ago and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
An other passion is basket: I have been playing in the local team ever since I was 11 ( never at high levels, always just for fun) which means that more than a team we are a group of friends which like meeting, training and playing together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. I have been playing guitar since I was 10 years old and I have recently begun to study double bass. I listen to almost any kind of music (except the electronic one) but the genres I prefer most are rock, blues and jazz, from Clapton to Mark Knopfler to the classics like the Beatles or the Blues Brothers.
I am not used to watch many films or read many books, but for sure the films I saw and I enjoyed most are The Blues Brothers (of corse), Fight Club, Into the Wild, or the films by Tarantino and Woody Allen. In general any film which is original in the sense that has unexpected developments or endings has good probablities to be the kind of film I like.
As far as book are concerned I don't read anymore as much as I used to, but I recommend trying "The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" by Douglas Adams or all the books written by Stefano Benni (if you understand Italian of corse)
