About Me

Hello, I am a student of literature currently on Erasmus at Warsaw University but I am originally a student at University of Bologna in Italy. Just looking to enjoy my days as a student, travelling, meeting new and interesting people. I like discussing things over a glass of beer in the evening but don't mind a good concert, or getting together with friends as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a really cool idea. My friends have reccommended it and I am excited to try it out myself. It is an economical way of travelling, allows me to stay within my means, and I can see how other people live and learn more about different cultures, traditions, etc. It also allows me to avoid impersonal hostels and experience something more homely.

Interests

Music is my first passion. I enjoy playing the guitar and the piano. Sometimes I spend my evenings listening to different bands or artists, I'm very open to experimenting and would not might jamming with other musicians as well. Reading is also something I'm interested in. I prefer especially poetry and philosophy, but I like novels as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well I don't really like hip-hop. But I can get into anything from Lou Reed to Miles Davis, from Bob Marley to old unknown blues musicians. One of the most amazing moments in my life (musically speaking) was when I attended a Radiohead concret in Bologna. I can spend hours listening to, discussing or just playing music. Always appreciate it when I am introduced to new artsits or different musical styles.

I really love poetry, especially Rilke, T.S Eliot, Rimbaud. . Some books that are dear to me are: Crime and Punishment, Woolf's To the Lighthouse. Something that I particularly enjoy is reading the lyrics of some particular artists like Dylan and Cohen, or Italian artists such as Fabrizio de Andre.

Some movies that I like are: Wings of Desire by Wim Wenders, 8 and a half by Fellini, or even the Russian director Tarkovsky's The Mirror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on road trip across Europe with my friends!
