Hello, I am Francesco, from Verona and I love the couchsurfing idea and its community, as it is always alive with many events, and allows me to get to know different cultures, by easing traveller's journey and their meeting :) .
I have yet to try travelling as a couchsurfer, but from what they have told me, it is a great occasion to really get to know the place!

I really love learning languages, as it is a lot of fun to me, and it makes feel as if I am melting with the culture. For example, after spending six months in Innsbruck, I came back a couple of months later and, waiting for the bus, I suddenly realised that I felt at home, because I could understand what the people around me were saying without effort. I was a foreigner no more.
I am always eager to at least try speaking your language, were you so kind to teach me.

I am generally a straightforward relaxed person, hence I love to have a conversation with open-minded people, but I also like to make some mess and have fun in the right situation ;)

Sun at midnight in Norway, I was so tired but I couldn't understand why !
I lived in Innsbruck for 6 months, I felt really at home and I appreciated the people and the mentality there a lot
