Hi guys, I'm Francesco and I live in Catania. Unfortunately I haven't traveled a lot in my life. My idea of travel is not just to visit cities in the world, but also to live experience in nature, especially hiking volcanoes that are my passion and matter of my study. My dream is to go in the countries where there are other active volcanoes, as in Iceland, America or Africa, although I think that Etna is the most beautiful and amazing volcano in the world!

I like making friends with people from different country, so althought I can't host anyone, I'd like meet up people that are visiting Catania.

Interests

Science, geology and volcanoes. I love hiking and walking in nature. I can play the guitar and sometimes I go to local concerts. I like cycling but I'm not agonistic. Recently, I've been getting really interested in different activities, which includes photography, taijiquan and tango argentino!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different kind of music, mainly rock. My favorite groups are King Crimson, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Jakob, Slowdive, Pink Floyd and others.

I don't have a favorite film genre or director, and the same I'd say about the books. Currently, I'm reading Carlos Castaneda's books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every time that I go on Mt. Etna is amazing, the best moments that I lived are linked with this mountain.
