Hi everybody!
My name is Francesco, I'm from Venice, Italy, but I currently live and study in Milan.
I have been always seeking wonder and adventure. Moving to Western Australia for 6 months to study abroad was the first true fulfillment of this lust. I got to know deeply my abilities and my limits, who I really needed and how to rely only on myself. I had the opportunity to meet several people from all over the world, to get in touch to a multicultural community and to appreciate more than ever where I come from.
Last year I' ve spent the summer volunteering in Chiang Rai, Thailand. It has probably been the best experience of my entire life. Wonderful people, dramatic landscapes, a simpler way of life, mini goals gave me sheer joy. That trip taught me a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I' m attracted by the thrill of the unknown, of meeting new people, of having new experiences, of taste new meals and, in a sense, of evolving into a new person. I guess that there' s no such thing when traveling as being inspired by locals.
