About Me

Hi there,
My name is Francesco, I'm 20 yo, I live in Mirandola, small town in Emilia Romagna, not so far from the city where I'm studying Economics (Bologna).
I'm an easygoing, openminded and reliable guy, most of the time cheerful and positive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been always looking forward to visiting and seeing new places, confronting myself with different cultures and traditions...

in 2016 some friends of mine and I traveled around Europe, it was our very first experience of its kind and we had a great time. Thanks to Couchsurfing we met some amazing people and shared unforgettable moments, nights and parties.
I am here on this social platform because I am still looking for that kind of experiences and I cannot wait to meet new interesting people, connect with them and exchange stories, ideas and knowledge.

Interests

I've been playing the piano since I was 8. I've always found it extremely relaxing and challenging at the same time.
It made me discover and love almost any kind of music throughout the years (jazz, classic, rock, indie, pop, electronic...)
That's probably why I put my headphones on whenever I can!

I enjoy reading books, watching TV series and anime as well.
I often write thoughts and ideas every time I need to clear my mind and calm down. That's really effective, I think.

Most of all I love to hang out with my friends and share unforgettable experiences with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Florence and The Machine, I think her voice and all her music are just marvellous.
Cosmic Love is probably my favourite one.

Here you are more stuff I hope you'll enjoy:
Georgia - Vance Joy
Upswing - Prinze George
I'll Be Fine - Clairy Browne & The bangin' Rackettes
Op.9 No.2 Nocturne - F. Chopin
Op.53 No.3 Song without words - Mendelssohn
Impossible - MOTHXR
Bills - Lunchmoney Lewis
Our Own House - MisterWives
Embers - Tunng

Then what about books?
Hermann Hesse - Demian. That is the book I love and saved my life, the one I'll be eternally grateful to.

Movies...
The Best Offer: Ennio Morricone did an excellent job here and the whole story makes you hold your breath till the very end: an unpredictable twist will shock you.
Harry Potter (All of them!!): that's the saga I grew up with, a lovable adventure which I still enjoy to watch (or read) even today.
The Lovely Bones, The Dreamers, Selma, The Help, Le Prénom...

That's it :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat on the edge of the cliffs of Moher (Ireland - west coast) and looked down at the Ocean. The landscape was astonishing, the surface of the cliffs was of a bright green, the ocean melted with the sky along the horizon and it was impossible to distinguish the two. I felt so small and yet so free... That's something I'll never forget.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach how to make many tasty dishes (also italian traditional ones) such as:
-Pasta carbonara
-Pasta-O (if you like potatoes tuna and light cheese then you're into it for sure)
-Pizza!!
-Chocolate Chip Cookies
-Puff pastry rolls with bacon and cheese
-Puff pastry "sun"

I can share ideas and opinion, tell stories and facts about my culture

Tandem (language learning)? I'm in!

Countries I’ve Visited
