About Me

I'm a very calm person, but that can get very excited about things! I'm organized, rational and but also emotional and feelings driven. I'm a good listener. I'm better at that than talking, even though I wish I was the opposite. The people i've meet that were the opposite were always very interesting people.

I'm from Brazil. I've lived 1 year in France when I was 19. Lived the past 1 year and a half in Italy. And now I live in Berlin, since June 2018. Moved for a job and for curiosity of this city and new adventures.

I'm a good cook, with lots of room to improve. Same thing with singing and playing the guitar. LOTS of room for some improving there. I like to read and I love listening to others read to me. I have terrible memory, even for important facts and events, I wish I didn't. I like to spend long nights eating, driking and listening to music in the company of friends. I like dancing, to many different kinds of music. I miss my family and friends in Brazil. I look forward to making many more friends and family here in Berlin!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have this profile since 2013, but never stopped to sit down and fill it in.
5 years have passed and here I am! Better late than never,

I want to meet new people, interesting people. I like making friends and having experiences that will change some things in me, and make me maybe view life with different eyes and points of view. Meet, receive and be received in return :)

Interests

I like to go to a museum and coming out still thinking about a piece or more I saw that touched me. I like to have coffee and pie when it's raining outside. I like to practice the languages I know, The best feeling is learning a language and seeying my improvements, month by month and getting compliments on that (German.. i'll get there you bastard...). I recently found I also love to bike. Specially at night, when there not many cars and other (~crazy) cyclists around and the air is fresh and cold. I like singing to myself. I like cutting garlic in tiny pieces and having the smell in my hand for many hours later. I like getting chills with a good live instrument being played in front of me. I like sweets and on occasion I put too much salt on my food. I like having plants around me in my house. I love a clean house and clean kitchen and the smell of clean clothes hanging in the sun outside. I like meat, but I don't eat it much lately. I like the travels i have made. I like the memories from them. Some I wish i had enjoyed it better. Makes me look forward to the next ones. I like flying. I like driving but it makes me sweat. I'm nervous with high spead when I'm the one controlling it. I like seeying pictures of house interiors on my phone before going to sleep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packed all of my things and moved alone to a different continent, without having any idea what was going to happen in the near future.

But then again, life is always like this. You never know what it will bring.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some beautiful words in portuguese and how to make a good barbecue.

I'd love to learn more german words and how to make the perfect apfelstrudel.

Also sharing experiences that don't only involve learning words and /cooking/eating food! Other stuff are welcome too :)
