Hello person reading my profile,

My name's Francis, I'm studying Chinese in London and am currently in Taipei for the summer interning at the British Chamber of Commerce. I really want to see more of Taiwan, meet people and practice my Chinese so any help will be really appreciated!

It's hard to describe myself without sounding like... erm... a nerd. But I really enjoy studying and reading... A LOT. I like talking about the world and what's going on in it as well as joking around and having a good time. My goal is to have changed something in the world for the better, whether it's reducing wealth inequality or stopping Justin Bieber from releasing more songs.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm mainly on here because this summer I'm living in Taipei and really want to go travelling around Taiwan. I want to meet more people so I thought the best way to do this and travel would be Couchsurfing! I'm keen to practice my Chinese so staying with local Taiwanese people would be great.

Reading! Especially stuff on economics and politics. I'm big on travelling, practicing my Chinese and learning about other cultures. I also run and when I was in Beijing I had ping pong lessons from a little old Chinese man so my ping pong is OK.

Lived with a homestay family in China for a year. I've been skydiving and bungee-jumping too.
