About Me
IN A GLIMPSE
------------------------------
I have lived in many cities in Québec, Canada and I have 3 degrees in Computer science, Veterinarian assistant and Communication-Marketing. In addition, I have developped other skills such as traveling, teaching, acting, project/business management, administration, event planning, website development, video editing, animal cares, horseback riding, restaurants and lodging.
Having studying and working too much and for too long, I am ready, at 34 years old, to make a dream come true: Travel the World in an ethical humanitarian adventure, looking for opportunities of helping local communities with substainable support and projects. I will be looking for local persons, groups, organizations, orphanages or refugee camps and I will offer my help, my talent, my knowledge, my physical aptitudes or simply my time, in exchange of a place to sleep, some food or transportation.
I will travel mainly in Africa (from South Africa and heading to India) starting in October 9th, 2016. I invite you to look at my blog: http://aidersanscompter.com/. (It's in French, but you have a google translate widget on the bottom of the page.)
Yet, I have backpack travelled China (1 month), Ghana (1 month), Panama (2 weeks), United States and Vancouver, Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Last year has been very busy, preparing my long trip. But through all my researches, I have learned a lot about other cultures and countries. I have also been involved in my local Sherbooke community with refugees and immigrants from Africa.
So, even if I have not been "virtually" active on Couchsurfing.com, I have opened my mind to the World, making me a better couchsurfer :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
------------------------------
My first was in El Valle del toro, Panama.
Then, during my month in China in 2014, I mainly enjoyed Couhsurfing all the time by being hosted or just meeting up.

Volunteering for 1 month in Ghana, Africa, during with I taugh french in a elementary school for children in needs (http://anjacharityfoundation.org/). The whole "living in a family" and meeting extraordinary people were also part of this Amazing experience. Being confronted to real and deep love also opened me to a complete different and rich World.
Then, volunteering here in Sherbrooke (Canada) as teacher and sponsor for a refugee family for a year.
