Présentation
À propos de moi
My name is Lucas, I was born in Madrid, in 1991, but I'm currently living in Örebro (Sweden) with my girlfriend Lucía while doing my PhD.
I studied psychology because I needed to understand what was going on inside Syd Barrett's mind. I consider myself a creative and funny person (at least I try, I love to make people happy in the most stupid ways). Things that I love: Music (make/listen), videogames (I consider some of them are pure art), neuroscience, Cosmos and Carl Sagan, reading, films, comedy and things that basically leave me mind blown for at least a couple of days after I discovered them. Then I have other days when I'm not that deep.
My girlfriend and I recently discovered that we really enjoy playing German strategy board games with friends while having a laugh and a beer. Some games we played are Catan, Puerto Rico or Kingdoms. If you are into that, we are up for a couple of games if we have the time!
In 2011 I lived in Wolverhampton (UK), where I had my Erasmus experience, maybe the most intense experience of my life and a big part of me. It really changed my mind in beautiful ways.
In 2013 I moved to London, there I completed a postgraduate course in cognitive neuropsychology. After one amazing year there, I decided that I wanted to go back to Madrid. I wanted to fight for a job back home. It kinda work, I worked for 3 years in Spain, but more than 500km from Madrid. This was my Galicia period, where I met Lucía.
Currently we are in Örebro, Sweden, where we moved in 2018 and I started my PhD.
Of course, I love travelling and I think that one of the most beautiful parts of a trip is the people that belong to it.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
As almost everyone here I guess, I consider myself an open-minded person that thinks that the humans you met on the road are an important part of its essence.
Also, money shouldn't be a drawback for the traveler, I would like to open my house to nice people in the same way that I would like that they open theirs for me.

I couldn't talk about me without talking about them. See "about me" in the previous section.
