ABOUT ME
Hi!
As you can see we are both students, very young of age but very mature. We're going in Europe for 34 days and want to share our culture with whom ever wants to share theirs. We most definitely know that museums and tourist attractions don't represent culture in a way eyes can.
Also, we love to laugh, exchange, and learn. We are very curious people and we hope to have interesting discussions and a good time all along our journey.
Rose is more of an excited, energetic person and she has a laugh you won't forget. She has a big honest smile most of the time, she's ambitious (wants to be a medical doctor), has an intelligence that stuns me time after time and she's quite sociable.
Francis is easygoing, relaxed, open-minded and unprejudiced. His determination and his thirst for knowledge guided him to create a journal, Le Civitas, (http://lecivitas.com/ in French) as well as starting a debate team. YouâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ll definitely enjoy having any discussions with Francis!
PHILOSOPHY
We're not thrown on planet earth with a project. We are the creators of our essence and to accomplish this everlasting task, we must share our ideas, our knowledge. And never forget to do it while having the most fun we can. While being happy.
Onfray said something very intersting: «Jouis et fais jouir, sans faire de mal ni à toi ni à personne, voilà je crois, toute la morale.»
Interests
Talk and interact with people - from the very young to the elderly . Arts - mostly novels, movies, theater and music. Knowledge - everything! health, psychology, sciences, politics, philosophy, economy, ethics, history, etc. Good food (trying as much as we can (at least for Rose) to eat vegetarian) , beautiful settings, sports (Mens sana in corpore sano), the ambiance of a city - its sounds, odors, tastes and faces - and most of all, TRAVEL!

Music, Movies, and Books
As for the books and movies; the classics, of course, but we are also up for lesser known publications.
Here are some movies we particularly appreciate: «Life is beautiful», with the brillant Roberto Benigni «The red violon», «American Beauty» an american satire masterpiece, «J'ai tué ma mère» Xavier Dolan's first movie, «Le huitième jour», «American History X» and «Milk».
Music-wise, we have different tastes but both seem to appreciate jazz and full, rich music. (We recently discovered Acoustic Alchemy! This UK band has unique melodic arrangements; we suggest Lazeez and Wish you were near.)
Francis composes electronic music (and plays piano and guitar). He produces whatever comes to his mind but has done a lot of trance music. He's into ambient and lounge music at the moment even though he just discovered this genre.
Amazing feelings happen at the most unexpected times. Running into the summer, a warm breeze caressing the skin with melodic music in the ears; daily experiences are as worthy as once in a lifetime occasions.
Teach, Learn, Share
We know quite a lot about our country and our province, Quebec. We'd like to think we're encyclopedias but our knowledge has limits our young age can't surpass. Therefore, you will most likely be the teacher and us, the students. But on the other hand, we can without a doubt assert that we're fairly cultivated people and have a lot to say.
