About Me
Enjoy meeting new people and creating opportunities to experience and improve the world around me. Easy-going, open minded and always up for anything - I find people fascinating and always looking to learn from people and add value to their lives. Just finished my PhD in Liverpool doing vertical farming, growing plants indoors in controlled conditions for sustainable food production. I love the idea of living in green cities surrounded by nature, and worked with a start-up in Liverpool creating aquaponic and urban farming projects across the city :).
Currently my based is in London with my parents and therefore unable to host anyone at present.
Love hikes in nature, meditating, taking photographs and making videos. Feel free to check out my instagram to learn more about me and photography @francisbaumont
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to get out of my comfort zone and meet new people to fully embrace the culture of any place i visit. I enjoy being a tourist but often we miss hidden gems and the full experience by sticking to what we know and are familiar with.
